Graduation Prelude

I tried to capture the day at the Salon where
Meagan prepared for her Grade 8 graduation.
These are a collection of the photos from
start of the hair up do to the finishing
Make up touches. It's scary how quickly our
children grow up. She looks more like a
graduate in Grade 12, rather than Grade 8.
The kit used to create the layout is by
Cari Lopez at Brazilian Blend, and also
at Scrapper's Playground entitled "Deb's Roses"

Healing Process

link to Ronee Parsons “Estella” kit. This kit has 12 rich toned papers of
browns and reds and turquoises, a grungy alpha, and three wordarts,
hope, love, and longing and extra elements.

I support this man in a Seniors group home. He suffers from Alzheimers.
Creating Scrapbook Pages is a relaxing hobby. It helps to keep the
mind busy and expands our creative imagination. Even after the
page is completed and in the Album, the pages continue to
heal.

I'm hoping this page will help Roy recognize himself in photos, but also
trigger childhood memories or just the taste of Ice Cream, even if
just for a moment.

Volunteering

Volunteering is an important part of our lives.
Both my girls volunteered at Canada Day this year providing
face painting. My eldest also volunteers with me in the recreation
program and the Early Intervention Program for Children with
Developmental Disabilties. The layout below was created using
Ronee Parson's Starstruck Kit available at Oscraps.

Happy Belated Canada Day

Welcome Friends to Sassy Scrappin'

It seems that everyone involved in digital scrapbooking
now has a blog. I thought I'd better get with the times.

SassyScrappin' will be used to showcase my digital
creations. I am now creating for Ronee Parsons at
Oscraps, Cyndi Wetmiller at Divine Digital, and this
month Elke Romero at Scrappin' Freestyle. I have
been digitally scrappin' for three years. My most
complete gallery is at Digital Scrapbook Place under
the name of Hattitudes.

I will also post a few of my very favorite designs here
as well and once you get to know me, update a little
about my life happenings.

I am a mother of two wonderful girls and live with
a man who will likely help me out with the computer
stuff when I get in a technical jam, which happens
often. My employment is in the Social Service field
as a Recreation Coordinator supporting Adults with
Developmental and Psychiatric Disabilities.

Glad you dropped in, and hope you'll be back,
